Offered to replace it, when I run either the Dell/Intel driver update softwares they don't identify my network adapter as needing an update. I can't tell if there's a different driver It seems that Intel discontinued support for this driver ( see here). But, this is not frequent/reliable enough for obvious reasons!

I have Avira (latest version) and ZA (10.1.065.000) and just to be clear WiFi worked fine before the drivers were unistalled and I had made no recent updates to either Avira or ZA. I have a L502X and I upgraded it to Windows 10 more than one year ago. But I am running out of ideas, surely I should be able to reinstall the WiFi drivers without having to reinstall Windows?! But it doesn't seem to help and they reinstall themselves as the WiFi drivers install, not sure if this could be the problem. I have tried to uninstall the Bluetooth drivers, since they should be installed after the WiFi drivers. This is exactly the same problem I had when I reinstalled Windows. If I connect via a cable instead, everything works fine. If I run the Intel diagnostics tool it tells me that the Wireless adapter is disabled or uninstalled. The drivers install fine, no errors or any sign of problems in the Device Manager. It's been working fine since, but unfortunately I managed to recently uninstall the WiFi drivers by mistake and now I can't get it to work anymore when I reinstall them.
